#marveltasticstudios As a movie fan, I wanted to see Peter and Gamora together in Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3. It was quite sad that Gamora from the past was not familiar in Avengers: Endgame. It was disappointing that the characters with a long-term relationship again looked at each other as strangers and did not experience any rapprochement in this movie. That feeling of alienation and disappointment in this scene was also deeply felt. “You wouldn’t believe it”. The saddest line in the film. We say that so much when describing an experience, knowing that who we are speaking to probably actually does “believe it”. The irony of Peter’s line hits very hard because he tried so hard to convince her she was his world, yet she has no memory of him.

I wanted them to be back together until watching the movie and realizing just what they did with her story after endgame and how this isn’t our gamora anymore and it can’t be like it was. And that’s honestly JSUT heartbreaking for Peter because he has to live with those memories and still see her while she remembers nothing

I think it was very mature not to put them back together. And a lot of character development went into their relationship and dynamic throughout the trilogy

At first, I hoped they'd get back together again, that Peter would find a way to get Gamora to fall in love with him like he did before.... But honestly, I'm more happy with this route. It was a more mature and relatable decision. Peter comes to terms with the fact that _his_ Gamora is gone, and even though he still has some healing to do, he gets some amount of closure. It's a bittersweet thing, but ultimately, it works well with the story.

It makes what they had even more special, because it shows that their love was so rare that if you have to start all over you wouldn't be able to recreate it

Alot of people are saying they should have gotten back together but....they never were this isn't our Gamora she is gone and nothing can change that. This Gamora is different went on a different path than the original and it wouldn't have been the same if she ended up with starlord.

They may be the same person but still different people 😢

I believe she realized what the other Gamora saw in him that made her fall in love. It would take every step, adventure, and memory for this Gamora to care not just for Peter, but for the other guardians as well. This ending was probably for the best, even though it's so sad.

The ending really tied it together bc the reason Gamora didn’t immediately attach to the Guardians was bc she already had a family of her own with the Ravagers. Bittersweet, but necessary altogether.

I honestly took it as an open ending. There were so many moments when she was becoming who she was before but just wasn’t quite there yet. They could have something again in the future. Not the same but still beautiful in its own way.

This is a great edit. And It was very sad and probably heartbreaking for Peter.
