Your channel has been a career-saving resource ever since I first stumbled upon it four years ago... I have spent the last three days stuck on fixing an issue with the dynamism of a workbook I am building in G Sheets; I searched your channel before starting this project but couldn't fine a resource to do what I was trying to do...

This video gave me an eloquent solution to the problem, thank you!

Hey, guys! Working method in the next video! It`s something like
="SELECT A, C, D, E, F, I WHERE A >= date '2019-07-07' AND A <= date '2019-08-17'"

Yeah, author, thanx 4 your videos! I like it so much! But, it will be better, if you shared with your spreadsheets, please!

Can we use formula like "select E F D where D =A2" ?
I mean, A2 is the example value where I search using vlookup. For example, the result in A2 in my sheet is the specific date I want to look up

There's no need to convert the date to a number. You can prefix your date with 'date' in the query string itself.

Well I have just tried to use the filter in the date column selecting condition "is between" and then entered 2 dates in the same format as in the cells and it just works like a charm, so I guess google has updated the support for it.

I don’t get an error on mine but It doesn’t retrieve the data except for the header

Aula perfeita!!! thx man!!!

I could be wrong, but this information may no longer be correct (as of 5/24/2024). When following the instructions outlined in this video, it didn't work.

This is an example query that did work: select B, F where F = date '2015-01-08'. Instead of using date as a number, you need to include "date" and enter the date with 'YYYY-MM-DD" format.
