Makes it feel like the band is just trying to play and Benson's some crazed fan that ran onstage and started randomly playing the drums and they're just trying to stop him to keep the show going

Nah nah Benson's drum solo was just so powerful that it begun destroying reality and anyone who witnessed it couldn't even see how he was really playing.

It is called the 150 piece solo, but did he even use 150? Were there 150?

As a musician, this episode was always one of my favorites from Regular Show. Plus a lot of the Benson-centric episodes just happen to be the best ones.
