Combining my two greatest loves- finances and Disney! But seriously I've never seen anyone film one of these before and figured it would be a good one for those trying to plan a trip and seeing how much vacations to Disney can cost! Of course, trip costs fluctuate GREATLY this is just how much WE spent but hopefully it gives people an idea!!

Love this! It’s a fun twist on the “what I spend in a week/month” and since I have never been to Disney I found it really interesting too 😊

I just got back from Disney and have been considering doing a video like this. Not many popped up other than yours. Marriott's Residence Inn Orlando offers a shuttle to the parks ( though I dont know if this a new thing in 2023 or not). Though it only runs certain times a day so you do have to stay basically park open to park close you cant come back unless you uber or lyft back. We stayed there for a week before moving to a Disney resort. It was helpful as we had a kitchen to make meals. We are Disney Vacation Club Members at Saratoga Springs. The disney vacation club rooms are really nice at all of the resorts. We have been wanting to try out all of the resorts.

Love this so much. More people need transparency and lack of fear in numbers!!

I am not “shocked” but enlightened 😂 Disney is expensive and it just gives context that I spent less going to Paris for 10 days. But it’s also inspiring to me because I need to be more open to my money mindset changing and opening up for budgeting in things to enjoy VS literally budgeting every single penny to the nth degree. Thanks for sharing girl!

As a Canadian who’s doing Disney in July. ( 2 adults also ) what would you recommend is a “ safe “ amount of CAD to bring for a week, we are thinking about the same as you guys. But we have already paid our Disney reservations/ tickets and plane tickets so just trying to get a ball park idea for spending ( food/drinks/ souvenirs ) Had a hard time trying to add up

Was definitely expecting well over $5k for a 7 day trip but I am pleasantly surprised! Under $4k is not bad considering Disney is quite expensive and they are out to get your money 😂

My boyfriend and I went to Disney and Universal for spring break and as college students we wanted to be as cheap and smart as we could. We flew Allegiant into florida, did Hollywood Studios, then park hopped in Universal the next day, and had a day to relax on the beach. We ate all quick service. It ended up being $800/person, during peak spring break time! Don’t let the cost of Disney scare you away from doing it, of course if you have the extra money to spend.

I stayed at pop century as a kid and for my senior trip. I agree they’re kind of like Disney motels (but not bad/typical motel stereotypes) - as in basic necessities and lots of food options, pools, etc. pop century and all star etc are great value options while still getting the on-property perks like you mentioned - I also tell everyone to stay on property if you are able- the costs even out almost completely (my dad used to do the math). I loved this video - this is a great YA/mid tier way to do things - not super low budget (which is hard anyway at Disney) but not out of control— love this video idea :D

If you go again in the future, there still is a bus that goes from MCO to the hotels! It ends up being $32 round trip or $16 dollars one way, highly recommend! It’s MEARS Connect.

Love this. Dreaming of going to Disney now! Last went 5 years ago and my friend was working there and got us in for a day and took as around and we stayed one night on property, it was amazing.

The total actually shocked me.. it seemed like it was more as you were going through than what it totaled at the end! I’d say that’s a pretty good budget for a whole week!!!

Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing that with us. As a former pass holder I am not shocked. But if you're not a Disney person I imagine you would be. Then again people who don't "get" the love of Disney don't ever get it 💞
