Tracking Trump’s Promises: Is he donating his presidential salary?

Since the election, President Donald Trump has pledged that he will donate his $400,000 per year presidential salary to charity. So far, he’s already been paid $66,000, and none has gone to charity. Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold will be keep track to see if Trump follows through on promises his camp has made. We’ll get back to you every month.

Fact of the matter is a charity only has to donate 12% of what it received the rest goes into their own pocket so which charity he gives it to means a lot also and secondly $400, 000 is nothing he's been in office 2 years and spent 96 million just to play golf and when he plays golf at his Resorts it goes back into his pocket unlike Obama who played lot less golf but he did it at military bases where it went back into the system it's amazing how much a little knowledge changes the whole subject doesn't it this is what I've been talking about he's a con artist he's counting on your ignorance to buy and make money off of us we pay our taxes he doesn't then he turns around and uses our tax money that we worked hard for another thing he doesn't know anything about work

What is more interesting is all the money donated for the Trump Inauguration that disappeared into thin air. The Trump Hotel at first billed $3M for a ballroom in the hotel, and later changed it to $1.5 Million. You could build several ballrooms for that much money! How in the hell did they spend $107M on that shabby inauguration with B-list entertainment?

I always said there was no proof that he did donate his salary and now that we got his tax returns back Friday we see that he never did. He cashed every single check of course he's a liar

He made 66k when they put this video out, what is that a month or two? He donated it once a year. He asked for input from the public on where it should go, and once a year he wrote a check for the entire year's salary to a different entity. I remember watching one press conference where he introduced the woman who suggested the charity he ended up giving to and had her explain what they were about, jt was something about himan trafficking and he cut them a check for almost 500k because he threw some of his own money in too. Answer - No. He didn't. None of his salary for 2020 was donated. It's documented in his tax returns.
