Why You Need To Play Titanfall 2 Right Now

You need to try Titanfall 2 while the playerbase is still seeing the surge in players that it currently is. In this video I will talk about the reasons why Titanfall 2 was able to leave such a strong lasting legacy even though it had to power through a lot of challenges. Titanfall 2 is one of those rare FPS games that really left a mark on the scene, despite never having the mainstream success most players thought it should've had. I think TF2 was the first FPS shooter I ever played as a kid. I loved it so much, especially that story mode it’s so awesome! I’d even say it’s better than most Call of Duty games, this was before I started liking Call of Duty with one of my favorites being Black Ops 3. I love TitanFall 2 with a passion and I’m so glad I got it that Christmas 😄

Since they fixed the bug, there’s been a lot more activity. From Monday to Friday, we usually see around 1, 400 players in the lobby screen, and on weekends, it typically goes up to 2, 000-3, 000 players. The only reason this game struggled at launch was because Titanfall 2 was released on the same day as Battlefield 1, which is why it didn’t get more players. However, now that the game is working again, I’m happy to see it thriving.

I think one of the reasons I like Titanfall 2 way more than Apex Legends is because there is a bigger emphasis on teamwork and it's 2 sides of 6v6 instead of your and 2-3 friends vs 100 others. I feel much more like a battle and there is more of a team emphasis than any Battle Royale can replicate. I will forever emphasize that team games ranging from COD, Halo, and Battlefield to R6:S and CS:GO are way more interesting and engaging than BR's. Plus they teach you that people get things done better when people work together, something that I don't believe Battle Royale games emphasize as well.

And before anyone comments that BR's teach teamwork as well, I think there's much more emphasis on larger teams because it's not just one person losing. _Everyone_ on your team loses. To me, that pushes me to work with my team more than me with 2-3 other friends or randoms.

Player retention is more related to lack of attachments/customization in my opinion. When you cant modify how your gun/titan plays and feels it may be rock solid but its just that, set in stone. Also pilots power vs titans was kneecapped in the sequel. Add proper attachment system, the old titan loudout system and the old rodeo system i guarantee player retention sky rockets....

i just played my first titanfall 2 online multiplayer game and it was so frickin’ fun. (i couldn’t play multiplayer earlier) truly one of the moments of my life.

I first got into apex, which is how I later got into titanfall and I honestly like titanfall so much more. The movement is so much more smooth and dynamic, plus it doesn't get any cooler than titan vs titan combat.

That and the story was so epic, though since I played the story before going to the deep end of multiplayer, I didn't initially understand what was going on other than point and fire since I didn't know the controls yet, but I did understand the full story later and I can now appreciate it that much more.
