Native - fish is historically in the area
Rainbows - west coast
Brook trout - east coast
Cutthroat - Rocky Mountains
Brown trout - Europe

Wild - stream bred. The fish was not stocked, but born in the stream. The rainbow was wild, but not native, the brookies were native and wild.

Stocked- the fish was born in a hatchery, and stocked into the stream

for anyone who cares... please remember to bring a net when trout fishing. try to keep to the 10 second rule during pictures. trout are very delicate fish and their slime dries very quick. tight lines 🤙

Everyone please remember to use a rubber net when trout fishing it doesn’t do as much damage to them as any other types trout are great fun so please do your part in trying to protect the fish so future generations can have as much fun as we do 😬

brookies are the easiest trout to catch, so when I found out that was the target species, I knew you were gonna lose your mind over how many you'll catch.

Throw some panther martin black body with a gold blade and some similar rooster tail spinners in your box for creek trips like this. Cool video, love the stream fishing!
