The full experience was only available in IMAX. The way they used the sub base to shake your seat and add tension to many scenes in the movie was very clever. Adds so much to the experience. It's just not going to be the same watching at home.

The best part of Oppenheimer was when the rain drop ripples where shown on the map of cities when they were discussing the Hydrogen Bomb. I realized in that scene what the meaning was of the rain drops that Oppenheimer was staring at.

Even the connection of rain drops to the nuclear explosions was such a great juxtaposition. Rain drops to most people are calming and spiritual. To Oppenheimer, it was a haunting reminder of the death he created.

Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon are some of the longest movies I’ve personally seen at the theater. The only difference is one weaves multiple narratives together in what barely feels like 1.5 hours and the other feels like wading through molasses .
