Welcome back FINALLY to Vita Carnis! Season 2 is finally here and I couldn't wait for anymore videos to be uploaded before checking out this incrddible series. This may be my favorite analog horror series. ENJOY!!

23:06 I don't think you mentioned this, but iirc, the "flavor enhancer" bottles were actually just a bottled version of host spores, so when somebody would consume the flavor enhancer, they would get infected like a parasite, and then mindlessly wander towards nearby Hosts and willingly sacrifice themselves to it.

Vita Carnis is absolutely my favorite analog horror series. It's curious, coherient, very well structured and blur the line between super natural and science.

I think the monolith's are basically giant transmitters for the crawl acting as their basically radio towers allowing messages to travel across to other vita carnis species hence how the wild trimmings knew what the captivity trimmings did

the cow turning into crawl really gives a new perspective on how the crawl got everywhere, no idea where the singularity came from tho

I believe the symbolic meaning of the story about the prince is that some sort of deity was resting on earth, and was awoken by humans who begged for a solution to world hunger (or another similar problem). The deity decided to gift the humans with the 7 singularities, which would produce a sustainable and rapidly growing source of meat, though of course this got out of control. There are still cultists who worship the singularities, hoping for the deity to one day return to Earth, blessing humans with its divine presence.

Also, the shot at the end of the season 1 finale depicts a group of people in cultist robes, worshipping a ring comprised of all 7 singularities.

We don't know where the singularities come from, but the video shows that these singularities turn everything that die into crawl, and on the first video of vita carnis we are told that it was discovered in 1931 and it had another boom on 1940's which are the years after both World Wars ended, meaning that the singularities turned all the dead from the wars into crawl. My theory with the Monoliths is this: there are seven monoliths and seven singularities and the monoliths have an empty space in their "heads"; I think the "singularities" go in those spaces, like a cyclop eye for each monolith, that's why they are around this facility where the singularities are kept :)

RYAN READ THIS PLEASE: since the life cycle was shown and the singularity creates the crawl, that means the last stage of the Carnis life cycle is the birth of a new singularity.

Worth noting: the story about the prince and the critters, is likely an anologue to humans and the singularity. Humanity discovere the singularity, and wondered what should be done about it, since it could be highly dangerous. Wisely, most people opt to simply leave it be, but a few individuals began feeding it flesh to hasten its awakening.

All of the events in the story, seem to like up well with carnis activity, as it spikes shortly after the singularity awakens and begins enriching the Earth with lifeforms that would stomp out humanity.

For my fellow SCP nerds out there, this would likely be classified as an XK Apocalypic scenario, where mankind is no longer at the top of the food change and is in danger of going extinct.

That's crazy if some cult or group intentionally put a Singularity near where a war or conflict might take place, it would actually be the apocalypse.

The vita carnis concept and world system needs to be released as a game such as a slenderman or fnaf type game, where the protagonists learns about all the information surrounding the carnis family, and finding the root cause and eventual cure for it. it would do so well.
