I saw this live in a local performance and there were parts that took my breathe away.

Nice piece. It is almost a masterpiece. I kept thinking it would morph into La Mer and really come to life. I knew Semyon when he first came to America. At that time he weighed about 135 pounds. Apparently, he has eaten well since then.

Great majestic sounding orchestral work this guitarist from "the National". He is part of a group of rockers
such as Tyondai Braxton, Steve Mackey, Ben Folds and others who have stature in both rock and classical music.

Uma bela obra lírica e com pinceladas contemporânea. Dessner é muito criativo e ao mesmo tempo usa elementos dramáticos de W. Schumman, Nielsen e minimalistas. Muito bom.
