Tips
Even having just a wheel a pedals connected to a desk is better than controller or keyboard and is probably better for learning to drive since you sit like in a regular car whereas F1 drivers basically lie down

Do time trial for a couple of hrs to learn the tracks and get comfortable with handling.

Try staying on the line since that’s the fastest way around

Turn off some assists

I recommend keeping all of them that you have on right now on until you set up the wheel except you can set TCS to full if you can’t control it

Start with turning off the racing line ( you remember points on the track where you start braking ex: braking boards, kerbs, advertising boards) Try driving tracks on time trial at maybe 50-60% speed and keep increasing speed every lap and if you don’t make the corner redo the corner but brake a bit earlier until you make it and remember where you started braking

Then you can work on turning of ABS. Basically you have to release the brakes gradually as you slow down since you get less grip from the areo at slower speeds. Think like you have X units of grip. You can use grip to turn and brake (when you enter the corner) braking and turning use a certain amount of grip depending on how hard you brake and how much you turn. If the amount of grip you use turning and braking is more then X then you lock up. So you have to manage the amount of grip you use by letting of the brake as you start slowing down and/or slow down.

TCS is almost the same as ABS but you accelerate instead of braking. You have to start low throttle and make your way to full throttle as you gain grip and use less for turning. Instead of trying to not locking up you try to not make your tires spin too much.

Basically practice is most important but I recommend learning them in that order and not doing them at the same time. That’s how I learned it. Then you also don’t want to use too much force feedback and practicing ERS management aka using it at the right time and saving it at the right time. Good luck and hope this helps anyone trying to remove assists I also recommend how to videos from F1 YouTubers such as Tmdkmarduk and Jaron Opmeer and if anyone wants I can make a video about it but I only have 21 and 22 not 23 and 24 but it’s the same principles

Don’t do one-shot qualifying if you’re new it’s the quickest but it means you can’t do any practice so try doing short qualifying
Use R&D points to upgrade your team car
Some tracks require more downforce so make sure to at least do some practice laps to find the required settings

When you start the race, start with Medium. Then you go a long time with it and put soft. So, you have more pace and then you can go on with those tires and finish the race with those.

As a massive f1 and s2g fan love to see this! Ferrari only give you one year as you are low rated and you need to meet team expectations to extend contract and improve rating. To avoid spinning out brake while also accelerating while taking a turn. You might want to up the difficulty really easy. A tip is to dive bomb at corners while still not making contact. And if you are gonna make contact even with a normal turn brake earlier, it also saves fuel

Hey man, I love your channel and your content so when you said you had some trouble with driving in the game, as an avid F1 game player and enjoyer, here are my tips.
Try disabling a couple of the assists in time trial mode and get comfortable. (This may take time)
Next, after you get comfortable with that then try to set the fastest lap time you can and look online for a difficulty finder/determiner.
Finally after plugging in your best lap, set the difficulty to the correct one and enjoy!
