Learn how to remove background shadows in Photoshop fast. You can easily remove shadows by first selecting the subject. You can make the selection faster by clicking "Select Subject".Then you can use the Content Aware feature which will fill in the shadows. Then you can fix background even more by using the clone stamp.

after selecting the shadow with the lasso tool i the fill option did not show boldly to be selected.. couldnt select the fill option to go to the next stage.. please help

i cant able to select option "fill" as it is disabled after selecting image thumbnail. If i selected mask thumbnail, its "fill option is enabled. Kindly clarify this.

Great tutorial !! i'm a beginner and what i was doing is almost the same technique, i select my subjet - inverse - than i use the eyedropper thake a sample of the font and than paint over the shadow, seems faster but you are loosing a bit of nuance of the font.

For the clone stamp tool on the last part, when I try to click alt on background and brush on the edges. It gives me black boxes which is really weird, it doesn't make a clean clone

Stopped at step 1. I can't drag the photo. It doesn't copy to the area below the original. I get a circle with a stroke through it when I try to drag.

Everytime I click fill, nothing happens! And i have the correct layer selected :/
