Music produced 40 years ago and it’s playing everywhere. The 80’s were a privilege to have lived through and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Having the privilege of being born in 1968 meant my generation got the good music! Which as a grandmother I'm stunned that my grandchildren are playing tunes I listened to when I was 14yrs old! Says a lot for the music industry today!!!

I was born in 1978, USSR. Whatever you say, people in the 80s knew how to rock! This sweet spirit of freedom was blowing from the West. There was hope in my heart for a bright future for all humanity! I would like to believe that all may not be lost! How to unite such too different people? With the help of this music as well. Let’s all get over childhood illnesses together and immediately and become happy, healthy adults. And so that this is not a utopia!

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE, Born in 64, teen in the late 70s early 80s, started full time work in 81 aged 17 so I started clubbing, drinking, smoking etc 90's came along, still clubbing, drinking, smoking, met a girl at a club in 93, still clubbing, still drinking, still smoking, then we got married in 95, Stopped clubbing, stopped drinking & stopped smoking but still married today to that same girl with 3 incredible sons. This 1980s nostalgia mix is like a time machine! It takes you back to the era of neon lights, big hair, and iconic music. The throwback playlist is a perfect blend of all the unforgettable tunes from the '80s. It's not just a playlist, it's a trip down memory lane. The 80s was a great time to be alive. The was an over abundance of good music and it holds up today. I recently battled cancer for a 11 months I listened to 80’s music at least 5 hours a day. It is such a positive part of my past that it kept me going. After 8 surgeries and 6 months of chemo I am in remission and I am still listening to 80s music. There is just something so great about the 80s . I wish there was a Time Machine. I would leave immediately. Lol

Isn't it crazy that different people love music from different generations, like we were born in the wrong generation? Or isn't that the beauty of individuality ❤

I was born in the 1950s, listened to classical music and old pop music on 78s (shellac records, for newbies!) and grew up with the Beatles and music from their contemporaries (RIP Radio Caroline!...). I've been a musician all of my life, and what I've learned is that all music has it's own interest whatever its era or style. Get out there, open your minds, and listen to everything. Historical/mediaeval, Baroque, classical, jazz, rock, folk/traditional, "world" music, pop... It's all good! Music is the universal language of all human beings.
