The christmas market is very scenic and has nice vibes, but don't forget you're in the middle of the city so if you walk down the street in any direction you will find places to grab something to eat for much cheaper than from the market booths.

just a very important note, if you've been there the most, ask for the daily menu because it's much cheaper than the posted prices, and it's difficult to write out how much the daily menu will cost.❤

The chimney cake is known everywhere in the region.
It is not mentioned in an 18th century recipe book because it was all Hungarian dishes. At least that is what the author claimed.
A long time ago it was called "botratekert" (wrapped around a stick).
The Hungarian legend connects it to the Tatar invasion.
According to the story, a group of refugees hid in a cave on a high mountain. The pursuers did not want to leave the cave. They waited for the food to run out. The refugees made a huge fake chimney cake out of straw and put it in front of the cave. Seeing this, the Tatars thought that there was too much food in the cave. The Tatars did not wait for it to run out and left.

I watch your YouTube video. Your YouTube video is really amazing. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzed your YouTube video channel and i found YouTube video SEO is not done. And your channel optimization is not done. And the keywords you used in the video have a lot of competition so your video doesn't rank first in the search list and doesn't reach your audience.

This is not Budapest, this is just a tiny slice of Budapest. It's just a decoration that hides the reality. Most of the city is filth, stench, garbage and crumbling walls. They spend millions on a glittering fair, which the majority of Hungarians can't even afford, it's only for tourists. It is one of the most expensive fairs in Europe, in one of the poorest countries in Europe. I hope I don't have to say more than that. Budapest has beautiful parts, but Budapest itself is far from beautiful. I know because I'm Hungarian, but because of that I won't lie just to paint a false picture. If you want to see beauty, I recommend Oslo and Stockholm as examples.
