When snapping defensive walls you can rotate them while snapped and you can build them in a circle easier

Great showcase of the setup. I'm 100% migrating here prior to the update as its going to be the only oil base (Edit: I keep) after the new island drops.
just a quick note at 4:05 you swap to freehand for your defensive walls and you don't need to. If you use the alignment mode on the walls they will snap to the adjacent wall and you can use the scroll wheel to change the angle to keep the walls joined. I'm not sure what the behavior is on the controller but I would assume you would be able to hold alignment and move your targeting reticle to make the adjustments.

Best base tutorial out there. I managed to stack the oil collectors for two of the nodes but tried a lot for the third oil node for a long time, couldn’t manage to build two collectors. Will go with 5 oil collectors only i guess. Anyways thanks a lot. It was more helpful than any other videos out there.

Still works on PS5 as of 12-29-24 latest update. What helped me was after setting 1st one like you said after going underground a little bit, was to use the R2 button to hold the other one in place with the 1st & let me place it next to it

hi bro, at 6:26 when I place the first plantation at the top and go to disasemble mode I'm unable to disasemble anything except for the plantation I just placed. so I'm unable to remove the benches underneath

I'm having some issues with at around 7:00 when you're attaching the 2nd stack of plantations to your first stack. I can place the top plantation fine, but after I destroy the row of benches, it tells me that all floors must be touching the ground. Anyone have any tips/ideas?

I DID go a little crazy with the height of plantations (I think it's about 7 or 8 high?), but with all the new crops, I figured I'd go a little more. But maybe it's TOO high?
