one can feel oveloaded when a mod requires a mod that requries a mod that requires....Very good content, my friend. Not everyone has premium to download 1500mods at once or want to spent hours modding and testing a game.

I installed this overhaul to one of my MO2 Profiles and it didn't take long. More than that, this simple overhaul is amazing. It's really clean and doesn't require hours of configuration that are also contingent on installing or removing all your other Mods or trying to get them to work well together.

This is insane. After playing newer games, it hurts to play vanilla Skyrim because the visuals are constantly reminding you it's a +10 year old. And yet, with such a short list of mods, it's insane how much it changed! Just goes to show how an experienced modder you are.

I just bought skyrim thanks to the steam sale and i was sure i wanted mods. I am a total beginner when it comes to mods and i became super overwhelmed with the amount skyrim has.

Amazing list! Thank you for your shared spreadsheet also. I started low, without knowing what I am doing trying to follow your guides. After 48 hours or so, I now have everything installed and working flawlessly together with ENB adjustments (some manual tweaking) and dynDOLOD with beautiful grass LOD and objects in the distance. Thumbs up! As a vanilla user, the only thing I am interested in is something basic and simple to improve graphics. I don't understand why there's not just one single mod for this. I rather just have no graphic improvement than have to install multiple random mods with dubious functionality/conflicts. But this seems reasonable enough to be worth trying.

I've got all seven of these in my list, though I currently have ENB disabled as I'm exploring more performance friendly options. Not only do they serve as a comprehensive overhaul, they can also be built upon by adding more tailored texture mods, more world edits, and really anything else.

Just got back into skyrim with the Dragonborns Fate Modlist to start me off didnt like the visual mods they had so i was looking for a short comprehensive list but all i could find was 100+ mods just for visuals so this video really helped out thank you!

Fantastic video, thanks! Short and sweet mod list. Haven’t kept up with Skyrim modding in several years. So this comes in handy. Only thing I was missing in the video was a comparison shot without ENB

Another good option that I use is Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel with the Photorealistic Tamriel ENB. That’s the only two lighting effects mods that I use and they’re pretty good looking. I also use water for enb and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Though it is pretty intense on my pc.

Though I recommend using 30% (or even 50%) fewer “vanilla” trees with ulvenwald as I find it adds WAY to many trees.

Good list! Though, I think the very new Fantasy Forests mod that just came out deserves a mention for those who want to keep their forests looking a little more northern than what's given in Ulvenwald.
