The flicker actually makes the device feel slower than the RM2 cause it has to do so much more every time a page loads

Thank you for posting your videos. If I had opened mine and was prone to more flicker I would’ve been extremely disappointed. I think I might keep the M2 or maybe even go for the Scribe.

I think the reMarkable is the only e-ink tablet on the market with 300 PPI in both B&W and color. I'll live with some quirks in hopes the new firmware fixes it.

What I don't get is why the white couldn't be more white instead of gray? White is one of the pigments, and they already have super white displays, so why not use the white pigment from those existing displays?

I hope they can fix that flicker it's so annoying. And I like when the screen is more whiter like remarkable 2. I'm still stick with remarkable 2.

I don’t notice the flicker and the black is black enough…. Not sure this is a real problem

That flicker is by design, the screen refresh is required ensure there is no errant e-ink.

The fact that there are no true blacks is a deal breaker for me. The dark blue in place of black is too noticeable.

I could not. For me it’s basically worse screen for muted colors.
And worse direct to paper feeling due to tre backlight that they need to add as the screen is not just flicker it’s darker.

No I would had like instead carta 3 with bigger screen. And same sized border around or at least so it works for left and right handed both in portrait and landscape
