For those who dont know, John Mulaney wrote the jokes for Stefon. But would routinely add new jokes as Bill would do Stefon live. So when Bill laughs and stops, hes seeing the new jokes for the first time. John Mulaney is a national treasure.

I love Stefon! It's been way to long since we've last seen him. One of the best SNL characters ever. All credit to Bill Hader for playing this character so amazing well and the writers for how hilarious this was.
