“Twitter is the digital townsquare, where people can freely share ideas and have open and unrestricted conversations”

Shopify guy - “you need some capitalism in there, not enough reckless consumerism in this town square, cos I need more money”

I don’t know, I’m trying to be an entrepreneur and I see e-commerce software like shopify as another middle man. Entrepreneurs are strapped for cash, and should reinvest their money in their own business, not Shopify’s expensive engineers, programmers, executives, and CEO, all whom make 10, 000 times more money than pretty much all of their customers. And with gas, shipping, and many other inputs cost rising, and I’d say the best way to connect to customers is to keep away the giant corporations filled with useless white collar workers sitting in their cubicles looking at their phones and chatting at water coolers. lol. Keep your costs low, products excellent and cheap, and make a DIRECT connection to the customer. Cheers to shopify shareholders and execs in their lambos and yachts.
