Being in the field of multimedia, I can dont agree with your first point. There is a reason why they dont show model for an online stores to display the products. Its cause they will have to take a wide shot. A wide shot will automaticall make the shoe appear small. So if they dont show model is more technical than a strategy. My humble point of view.
