Prof. Miles Prince is Professor of Medicine at both Melbourne University and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, Director of the Centre for Blood Cell Therapies at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne and Consultant Hematologist at Cabrini Hospital, Melbourne.

He graduated from Monash University in 1986 and completed his laboratory hematology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He then spent three years in Toronto, Canada, examining gene transfer into myeloma cells for immunotherapy. During this time he completed a clinical fellowship in transplantation and was awarded the Edward Christie Stevens Fellowship in Medicine and the Postgraduate Fellowship Award for his work in multiple myeloma.

Prof. Prince is currently the Chair of the Australian Cutaneous Lymphoma Network and the Medical Scientific Advisory Group of the Myeloma Foundation. He is also a member of several editorial boards and scientific advisory boards, including the International Society of Cutaneous Lymphoma.

He has published over 240 peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented over 500 abstracts/presentations at leading congresses. His interests include stem cell research, cancer immunology, blood clotting, bleeding disorders and transfusion medicine, as well as being an active investigator in numerous clinical trials investigating novel agents in myeloma and lymphoma.
