Demorou uns 15 anos para alguém upar uma versão com qualidade e uns 17 para aparecer no meu feed. Como eu lamento profundamente por não ter ido nesse festival, mesmo que sozinho. Acho que nunca mais houve nada parecido para o pessoal que gostava do som dessa geração. E ver os caras mandando bem ao vivo, coisa que foi ficando cada vez mais rara nos anos seguintes, até os dias de hoje em que eles são no mínimo questionáveis na maioria das performances ao vivo, teria sido... Mas enfim, inesquecível mesmo são certas frustrações e algumas nostalgias. Minha juventude não foi muito bacana, levou tempo para eu me encontrar. Agora que eu me encontrei, eu e o Julian estamos calvos e barrigudos, muita Heineken e Lucky Strike deu nisso. No caso do Julian, muito mais que eu, fora outros aditivos 😂
Mas que bom que, ao que parece, por hora estamos bem e que todos possamos ficar assim por muito muito muito mais tempo ❤‍🔥

Eu tava lá no Pepsi On Stage. Eles tinham lançado o Room on Fire, que eu tb achava um discaço assim como o Is this it. Foi um puta dum show. Com Arcade Fire abrindo, ainda por cima. Não conhecia e achei demais. Such a night!

I 1st heard The Strokes in 2001, when my brother-in-law gave us a burned cd with, Is This It?....he used to DJ at Univ of MI's radio station Saturday nights, and he's always on top of really good music, so It was The Strokes, and The Whte Stripes, and Luncinda Williams that year.. l listened to, Is This It, everyday for almost a year! Big fan ever since, but I've never seen them perform in person! Must do this soon... much less time to check it off a bucket list. 💛💛💛💞
