This was a time when entertainers were both musicians and singers. The music was outstanding. not like the canned computor-generated stuff used today. and look at them. They are having a blast doing this. Great music.

If your liken country music from the FIFST AFERICAN AMERICAN Country performer. When his first record came out NOBODY KNEW HE WAS A BLACK MAN. He was also great.

This is from 1978. That was so much fun watching these 2 great legends together. I had forgotten that Johnny could play the harmonica besides the guitar. Love Roy Clark's amazing guitar playing. You could see how much fun these guys had together & their joking around.

Great reaction video. Johnny Cash and Roy Clark Folsom Prison Blues from Hee Haw is another good one to check out. Roy Clark has a way of loosening up Johnny Cash and have a good time. Love it.

Back then artists would collaborate and do songs together. Especially on TV variety/music shows. Roy Clark was a regular on Hee Haw and Johnny Cash had his own TV show and had many artists on his show. Not just country either. He had The Monkees one time!

I enjoyed how they each took a turn at the chorus and then did it so well together the third time around.

This must have been from Johnny"s TV show. It's wonderful how Johnny on the harmonica and Roy on guitar both could create "train sounds". Also great as he was Johnny didn't need to play guitar with master Roy.

I used to see Roy Clark play when I was a kid but did not appreciate it like I do now. I had no idea, he's got to be at least in the top 10 guitarist of all time.

Anytime the legendary Country Singers got together to play music & sing...they had a good time. No egos. It was always great to watch them.
