Palestinians, Muslims Hold 'Day Of Rage' Over Trump's Jerusalem Decision

On Friday, thousands of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Gaza, and in East Jerusalem, participated in "day of rage" protests, against President Donald Trump's recognition of the ancient city as Israel's capital. Across the Arab and Muslim worlds, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to show their solidarity with the Palestinians and express their outrage over the US decision. Trump’s decision to reverse decades of U.S. policy and recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital has been met by days of protests. As of midday Friday, no deaths had been reported in two days of demonstrations, although thirty-one Palestinians were injured in protests on Thursday.
