Israeli forces stopped some of the Palestinians from entering the Al-Aqsa compound in Jerusalem. The Palestinians weren’t allowed to perform Friday prayers. The blockade forced some people to pray on the streets. Israel said it may limit the worshipping at the holy site during Ramadan for security reasons. Al-Aqsa has long been a flashpoint of violence.
