Going small part 2: How a family of four can live in 30m2

More and more people are choosing to live in smaller spaces. So we asked ourselves what it would take for a family of four to be comfortable in just 30m2. This is great but what if you don't have extremely high loft-style ceilings in order to build up like this? Usually if a family of four is living in 30m2 they're not doing so out of choice but out of necessity. Would be great to see a plan for a space with more standard 2, 5 or 2, 6 meter ceilings.

I must acknowledge that this is full of good ideas and it looks great too. Yeah yeah yeah ... sure but I'm not sure if the kids would be comfortable living in those boxes, I also think that this only table in the space won't be enough when they grow up and they need to work a lot, and most of all, WHERE is the fridge ?

Corelle dishwares takes up the least space in the cabinets. I was able to have 10 plates in the space of 4 regular dishes. Hung up all small pots and pans.

I love tiny homes but I don't know if my family of 4 can live in this home but it is really cool

i used to live in a 17m² space with my parents when i was a kid, i had to sleep with them in the same bed, thats disgusting but we are poor, when i grew up a little around my 9 year old they got some more space to add to the "house" from another "house" that a relative left. Only after this space got added i finally got my own space and so did they, still our place is hella small (around 30m² now), very unorganized, badly designed and distributed. I feel sufocated every single day and we live in a mess because no matter how much i want to redesign the plant of the house, add some nice features to help with organization and nice finishment to make a better quality of the house, I can't because we're poor lol (again this situation lol) so we live in this messy and hard to clean place with almost zero natural sun ligth, every day because we got no other option.

while looking up for those kind of videos of "intelligent 30m² houses" to see the potencial my house could have.

even though i complained a lot im still greatful for having a place to live while many are homeless and have nothing to eat

btw i guess if i had this much money to makeover the tiny house i would actually use the money for a bigger house

I wish they would list what Ikea products were used. I couldn't find the drying rack when I search their site.

Its amazing I love the kids beds but that kitchen is too small for anyone that cooks, especially cooking and storing food for a family of 4

That's weird, I've seen people build a 30m2 house with two bedrooms, toilet, kitchen area and living and dining combined and it looks great! Doesn't look cramped and family of 4 can comfortably live in it so I'm not really a fan of this Ikea space😔😔
