Parts list (check website article for full list, affiliate links):

In this tutorial I will show you how I made my Mecanum Wheels Robot Platform from my previous video, to work together and operate automatically with my 3D printed Robotic Arm, also an Arduino project from one of my previous videos.

Thanks JLCPCB for sponsoring this video.

This is far too professional looking, I love it. Now I have a desire to see you mount a Nerf or airsoft gun and gimbal unit on top to turn it into a low-budget version of DJI's robot...

Very good video, super informative. If you have jittering problems with the servos, especially the 996R one that hold a lot of weight what you can do is add a big capacitor, preferably a good brand, directly in parallel to the output of your 5V regulator. I had a problem a couple of days ago very similar to your while building a solar tracker that holds a rather heavy solar module. The 996R servo that is holding the arm and deals with vertical tracking would not move at all but would gitter and hum. I added a 2200uF nichicon cap that I had lying around in parallel to the 5v bus and it completely fixed the issue. What I suspect is that the DC motor inside the stepper requires a current spike only for a very tiny amount of time to overcome the inertia of the load and start moving but if you cant provide it it propably stalls. The capacitor will be able to supply this spike very easily and after the moror build the magentic field inside it and start rotating and then the 3A of your regulator will be enough to move the load. Your regulator limits the current at 3A which does sound like a bottleneck for the spike that the battery or capacitor would be able to supply. I used a 2.5A wall adapter so it sounds like 0.5A more in your case would not make any difference and that is without considering the power draw from the other motors...Try it and share your results.

I have a bunch of nema17s and 25kg servos that I got on sale but I think I'll start with the car first haha wow you're a very good engineer and you adapt your designs very well when issues arise.

I have 2 questions;
1. How do you write a program to create a double click function on the button to have the motor turn a certain amount of degrees, hold it as long as you hold down the button, than rewind back the exact way when you release it?
2. Could and how do you program/solder that circuit into smaller arduino models?
