About Merge Mansion

Upon being given the keys to a secret gate leading to a massive mansion in her grandmother’s backyard, Maddie realizes that there might be more to her family than meets the eye. But why is Grandma Ursula so secretive about it? And how come she never spoke about any of it?

Plot twist: Grandma wasn't trying to blackmail the finance, she held documents proving that he was using Maddie for whatever shady business and forced him to leave Maddie. The house being torched was done by the finance because he was angry at grandma for thwarting his plan and at the same time to hurt Maddie and by extension, grandma more for being unable to protect her granddaughter's home. Grandma is staying quiet because she feels guilty with the way she went about it. That diabolical asshole.

I think grandma has something over the fiancé, maybe involving the dead relative who isn’t actually dead and when Grandma Ursula took that information to the fiancé it was finally time for him to make up for whatever the thing Ursula had over him was. So essentially grandma Ursula called in a favour on the day of her granddaughter’s wedding to sabotage everything for her. Now just to work out what’s the deal with the mansion and the pies…

Granny probably found out something bad about the fiancé, she looked like she was holding case documents. She was probably looking out for Maddie…in a weird way. She could’ve just told Maddie but maybe she wanted to make him look even worse
