This video literally answered a question ive been searching to answer to for actual months. Running through countless tutorials only for 3D to never be mentioned outside of sticking grease pencil lines to already existing 3D objects. Not to mention no talk of animating them together. Thank you for this.

Possibly the best example I seen all day, I been thinking of doing some anime. however wanted to mix 3d and 2d together because I think it would be easier than redrawing the same person 3000 times a day, just for one second of screen time.

hello.

I have a non-standard question about this topic. How can I make drawn strokes always appear on top of a particular mesh?

I mean that the X-ray mode would not work for the entire scene, but only for two objects. I was advised to do this in compositing but was also told that there is some way to do it directly in the viewport, selectively for some objects in the scene. If you can help me please post your discord
