Thanks for a very clear explanation. I'd like to add that while my child spent nine years as just such a puppet on invisible strings, at some point, around about 4 years in, she became a thinking puppet - she continued to behave on the surface level in accord with the covert manipulation, but kept her increasing skepticism hidden from her allied parent.

Not only did the AP try & contact our child frequently with phone & text. She would also frequently need to meet our child when in her Dad's care, dropping off clothes or withholding school uniform so that she could come round to see our child & drop things off. Before our child rejected her Dad completely she trespassed on our property and was asked, in writing, to leave 6 times. She persisted & manipulated a younger step sibling to come & get our child. This resulted in a C&D letter to the AP. The Puppeteer showed it to our child. That was the unforgiveable event, Dad was abusing her Mum by limiting Mums time on Dad's property. Mum told our child, Dad wrote the C&D letter. Not because of Mum's coercive behaviour, oh no, but because now our child was refusing to see Dad, effectively blaming our child 4 the C&D letter. Dr Childress how can I contact you? I'd like at least a little of ur input?
