I made a small quilt using Ohio Star pattern 20 years ago. The quilt has been used and used to the point that it is worn out. I've been wanting to make this same quilt again and this tutuorial is fantastic so much easier than the original way that I first used. I used 6 charm packs background fabric plus one jelly roll for the 11 inch Strips, and 4 charm packs Regent street flowers. Working now on the outside Border.

Could you use a ten inch square sewn all around to get the hourglass pieces? I know it will change the block size....but will it work? I just love Jenny's technique for making the triangles/flying geese.
