To add:

16: Running fissure missions solo. Never do that. Running them in a team means you can choose the relic reward they rolled at the end of the mission instead of the Forma blueprint that you rolled for the 70th time. Additionally, if another player chooses the reward from your relic, you get 5 extra void traces at the end of the mission.

17: Not spreading your endo and credits around when upgrading mods. What I mean by that is the following: If you're low on Endo, instead of maxing out very few mods, it is much more efficient to spend your Endo to get more mods just short of the max level. The reason for that is simple maths: Each upgrade increases the effectiveness of a mod by the same amount, which is usually equal to the base effect. So a mod that increases a stat by 5% at base, will probably increase it by another 5% with each upgrade. It's a *linear* increase.
The cost of upgrading mods however is *exponential* . Every upgrade costs twice as much endo and credits than the previous one, and mods that have a full ten upgrade levels (most primed mods, some of the corrupted mods, archon mods, Rivens and the likes) will cost you up to 2 million credits and 40, 000 endo to fully upgrade (the exact amount varies a bit by the rarity of the mod).
But here's the important bit: About half of that cost is for the final upgrade, which doesn't offer a bigger increase than any other upgrade to the mod.

In other words: Rather than upgrading a single mod to rank 10, you can instead upgrade 2 mods to rank 9, 4 mods to rank 8 and so on. You get much more bang for your buck by upgrading more mods to a slightly lower rank.

18: Neglecting elemental damage entirely when modding your weapon. A common mistake is thinking that if a weapon has low status chance, it's not worth putting elemental mods on. However, and that is important, elemental damage is multiplicative with other damage increasing mods. So if you have a weapon that deals 100 physical damage, and you have a not fully ranked serration for 100% damage and a fully ranked elemental mod for 90% elemental damage, it adds up to (100 damage x 1.9 elemental) x 2 Serration = 190 damage x 2 = 380 damage.

Even if the elements you put on your weapon aren't optimal for the faction you're fighting, you'll still deal more damage than without elemental mods.

Excellent list. As a clan founder, I help newer players a lot and spend time in questions chat helping.

Can you still merge your accounts? I haven't played Warframe in a few years. I was thinking of getting back into it but if I can't merge than I won't play again.

for tip #3; instead of doing like this guy said, max out Vacuum mod for your sentinel or Fetch for ur dog, it’ll save you so much time

Is it posssible that you can do a returning players guide? There has been so much added and the game tells you so little of how to do them

1:50 I actually find it's a mistake for new players to blitz through missions. Early game it's best for new players to take their time and enjoy the wonder of the game. Most new players I've seen blitz through missions end up lacking in important mods, meanwhile players who take their time seem to end up with far more of the core damage, multishot, and elemental mods.

2:15 Players who blitz through also tend to be the ones lacking resources - this could partially be the cause as they're more likely to not pick up items.

2:40 Indeed. Should also emphasize that items awaiting to be claimed after they're finished crafting do NOT take up an inventory space. Thus, there is no downside other than resources that you'll likely regather as you play.

3:20 Aura mods, yes - always use an Aura mod. Potatos? Mixed feelings about using them early game. You're still learning the game and may not be able to judge what frames you'll want to keep - however it is still important to be willing to use them once you find equipment you're comfortable with keeping till end-game.

4:30 A more important issue for beginner players in void fissures: Make sure EVERYONE in the party has all 10 reactants. I more often see new players trying to extract before everyone has their reactant.

7:35 It's also fine to make your own clan - I'd often say that your friend-group should make their own clan for the game rather than joining public clans. Mainly to avoid story spoilers some players may reveal.

9:10 For mods that have a max rank of 10, you should bring it to rank 6 or 7, due to the exponential increase in cost each rank. Until you're later on and have a ton of endo.

Another mistake is over leveling the mods that can go to level 10.
A lot of these give best bang for buck at around lvl 5 and leaves to u with capacity for other mods
