Klaus - Márgu English Dub

Márgu is the most cutest character in this film! Fun fact about her is that she is Sami, which according to Wikipedia, "The Sámi people are an indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses large northern parts of Norway and Sweden, northern parts of Finland, and the Kola Peninsula within the Murmansk Oblast of Russia. The Sámi have historically been known in English as Lapps or Laplanders."

I got the translation of what she is saying from a comment on another video of Klaus.

Klaus is a 2019 English-language Spanish animated Christmas comedy film written and directed by Sergio Pablos (in his directorial debut), produced by Sergio Pablos Animation Studios (also known as the SPA Studios) with support from Aniventure and distributed by Netflix as its first original animated feature.

My great grandmother was Sámi and I was so surprised hearing a Sámi voice and seeing a Sámi hat in this film, it was so cool. She would've turned 100 years old today, R.I.P.

Not being a native Saami speaker, I was curious too but now it makes perfect sense. I had the inkling she called Jesper stupid, so I suppose it was my intuition deducing her meaning in that scene. Still, this is so wholesome ! I adore it, and Margu is just so precious ! I even love her appearance when she is older. She is such a beautiful soul.

I’m so glad they used Sami and not English in the movie. Makes it more authentic and special, I was so surprised. My Sami dad loved watching it with me!
