Everything We Ate in El Paso, Texas

Kind of disappointed you all didn't go to the many local owned/hole in the wall restaurants El Paso has to offer! Fine dining is nice sure, but El Paso's culture as well as it's food is amazing and it wasn't truly showcases here. I hope you had a good time!

as someone who grew up in El Paso you didn't find the burrito man downtown at 3 am you lost an opportunity. Also while I would have said "don't go to Juarez" from like 2006-2012 it's my sister city and I loved it there. At least they took you to La Posta and Caliche's over in La Union, but man they screwed you out of so many places that are basically just in shopping centers or tiny ass buildings (one of the best Italian Restraunts in El Paso operated for years out of a converted house). Nice of them to schedule you for the one day it rains in El Paso each year though!

Also in El Paso and Jurarez at bars and restraunts people (of all races tbh, the two cities are so mutually linked it creates a unique microculture) bursting out into song, especially old Mariachi ballads is normal. The bar in Juarez they took you was the most authentic place....

It was still nice memories of home though, I miss it a lot, I miss the desert a lot tbh.

I'm so confused lol, like the fine dining stuff is cool and all I guess but that's not what the food culture is about in el paso. I feel like you guys skipped pretty much every single staple that el paso has to offer. Plus there's so many food trucks and taco carts that got left out as well, I would love to see you guys go back with some advice on what to eat from the local.

While y’all are still in the southwest region, you need to try New Mexico Hatch Chile. It’s only a few hours from El Paso. New Mexico has lots of food culture

Dam i Live in El Paso and had no idea this was even going on lol. NExt time (if there is a next time) you guys have to try Chico Tacos, I'm not a huge fan of them but people love them here and it would have been cool to see your guys reaction to that lol. Shame i couldn't run into you all i live like 10 minutes from the airport.
