You did it again...the thru-hiker did it again! Life today has allowed us to forget that good living, good loving, faith, success, peace and happiness - are all learned, earned, and experienced journeys we choose to take. Sometimes alone and sometimes crowded. Too often we forget to make the choice and make the time necessary to partake in these life enriching journeys.

Great advice! I have also heard the ultra lite principal being very important, im trying to keep what I pack down to the bare essentials, and internet resources have been a great help in determining what is essential and what is not. Thanks again guys!

The best description of the trail that I've heard, and I've listened to many a thru hiker try to explain it. Would love to hear him elaborate on the community aspect of the AT, as well.

Keep us posted about the vid contest outcome. Apache is still hiking with same good group of folks; Tinkerbell, Slims, Orion, & Rainbow Eyes. They're north of Cheshire, Ma near Vt. And, loving the woods & different Eco systems. Have you ever hiked the PCT?
