Building a Guitar Out of 700 Sheets of Newspaper

I take a bunch of newspaper and attempt to build a guitar out of it.

Newspaper is probably the very last thing I would imagine a guitar made of. And the results are incredible: it looks ridiculously cool and sounds absolutely amazing! Wonderful job!

You fully just reversed engineered the paper to wood. I looks amazing I also love the finish of the body and neck contrast. Having the other newspaper headlines as a background was a great choice, gives it a sort of old yet historic look. Great work!

How well do your guitars age? The colored pencil guitar, for example, is it still holding up? Do any of these unconventional materials ever come apart or show their age faster than conventional guitars? Does the epoxy yellow over time? How well do they hold their setups? Do you have to adjust the intonation more often?

Really really phenomenal. With more and more woods becoming protected I wonder if alternate materials like this will become standard for mainstream guitar producers in the future.

i love the “grain” pattern of this. it has always reminded me of like digitized wood or something, like wood from a crazy futuristic techno-tree!
