All faction disguises reactions in FNV

I like how simple it is to make an enemy out of the Powder Gangers early in the game but Dawes immediately sees through a disguise in one of the earliest occasions you could try and attempt to use that mechanic.

I like that the smaller factions like the Powder Gangers and Great Khans see right through your disguise, but the NCR, Legion, Fiends, and (maybe) the Brotherhood don't easily see theough beyond the assumption you may not belong there.
But i assume in the case of the Brotherhood and Legion it has to do with the fact both wear masks/closed helmets and the NCR assumes you are a transfer or a runner.

Honestly this is a mechanic I wish they kept in fallout 4 were you had to use disguises to infiltrate other factions or access restricted areas now yes there is mods that can fix that but I wish they included it in the base game because it was a cool mechanic in the older fallout games

I love going up to NCR characters with a fully idolized reputation, and they still give me that suspicious glare. Buddy, you literally won’t let me ENLIST despite how much I’ve already done for your higher-ups! This armor was a gift that YOU gave me when I helped the troops at Searchlight find peace. Hilarious when they’re basically like “Look, we honestly look up to you more than our actual sergeant. But rules is rules, and your military ID needs renewal.”

only one I'd ever done was the khan one, although in the context i wasn't really even in disguise, since the khans sent me over to sell to the fiends, and I'm fairly sure they technically make you a member if you get to idolised with them

I never got the BoS one, instead they come out before I even get close to the door to make you a prisonner if you didn't bring Veronica and when I wear a BoS Power armor after I got trained by the Remnants
