My friends have a Great Pyrenees that over the years has learned that the cats are not allowed outside. So when he sees a cat, either his own or the neighbours', he gentle picks it up and carries into the house. None of the cats fight him anymore and just stay still and enjoy the ride.

"They are fearless dogs." Side-eyeing my Pyr/Bernard mix who jumps when we put down a bottle of nail polish and once gave a very thorough warning display to a McDonald's bag in the middle of the road 🤣🤣🤣

It didn't really sink in how large she was until you climbed up onto the table to blowdry her. That's insane.

My childhood Great Pyrenees, Obie, died a few weeks ago at the great age of 12. He was the best possible dog to have grown up with - loving, fiercely loyal and protective of me and my siblings, and all around the sweetest soul. Incredibly intelligent, and in his younger years incredibly naughty. He flunked out of his beginner obedience class, counter surfed constantly, and once did $50, 000 worth of damage to the house when he'd unintentionally been left alone during a thunderstorm (turned on all of the bathtub faucets and flooded the house, knocked the top of the toilets off and shattered both them and the tiles below, even got into the attic and punched 2 holes through the kitchen ceiling). My dad ended up buying a large property a few years back so Obie enjoyed his golden years roaming the land, barking at birds, and basking in the sun. He's buried in the front yard where he used to stand and bark at the mail truck when it came in (his favorite past time). I was able to be there with him the day he died and spent hours talking to him with his giant head on my lap. You don't see Pyrenees often, and this video was so comforting to watch - he looked so much like this when he was younger. Bright white, all fluff, a little gangly. What a beautiful pup.

I really appreciate when you introduce the different dog breeds.

The fact that you provide information about the individual dog, the dog breed, and how you perform the spa cleaning is just amazing.

You truly deserve 1 million subscribers.

My lady Pyrenees is my vigilant protector, but the sweetest thing. Once, my BF got a haircut and when he came home she barked at him until I convinced her it was okay and still her dad.

A lady we know has a Great Pyrenees rescue. She's a wonderful lady and the Great Pyrenees is a beautiful, majestic dog.

“Courageous” yeah my Pyr may be willing to fend off a bear but dude was scared skinless by somebody walking their five shih tzus down the street while we were on a walk. My guy saw 5 of the same kind of dog that’s the alpha in our house and IMMEDIATELY turned around

I love that you are hyping the breeds while also explaining the pitfalls. Each breed has their high points, but they also have some natural traits that some people may not be able to tolerate.

My grandpa had 2 Pyres and a bunch of pygmy goats. I swear his farm was like paradise, the goats were always so friendly and the dogs were so chill, like he'd even let the goats stand ontop of him he was that chill. Love this breed, they're so stoic and their presence always made me feel safe and secure.

They look like a giant white golden retriever, but their personality seems so different.

So happy to announce that I now own a beautiful 7 month old Great Pyrenees. Her name is Nana. She was living exclusively in an outdoor kennel in a rural area of Minnesota her whole life, so not socialized or house trained. I’m so glad the people surrendered her when they did. Going to do everything possible to give her her best life. I enjoy this channel so much… thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful videos!

I know someone who has a great pyrenees, but sadly I can't really interact with him for long because even if he likes me, after five minutes he starts biting my feet (have some shoes with a hole he made in them!). I never understood why he did this, but I still love that big goofy pile of love.

What a beautiful natured doggo. I’m sorry her owners lost their other doggy, it’s so sad that our pets live such relatively short lives. There are lots of Pyrenees dogs near where I live in Australia, guarding flocks of turkeys and geese, and paddocks of sheep and goats etc. They’re so cute to see out with their animals and are so protective of their charges.

I have a Great Pyr mix boy. He loves being outdoors, and when he's indoors, has to be in a room in which he can gaze upon his kingly lands and bark at any soul unfortunate enough to encroach upon his territory.

What a sweet girl!
We live in the mountains, and our neighbors directly behind us have a Great Pyrenees. He barks when he sees me in my backyard, or when people walk by on the road next to our houses, but it's always the "hey, someone's here!" kind of bark. One morning, I heard him barking HYSTERICALLY and thought to myself, "That's weird. I wonder what's up with him?" My husband checked our trail camera later that day, and at the exact time our neighbor's dog was losing his mind, a black bear had been walking through our backyard. I'd been right where the bear was walking not 10 minutes earlier! Ever since then, I always listen for that hysterical bark before I go outside!

The vigilant part is so true. My friends had one and she would sit in front of the window in her little chair and bark every time someone passed by. I one time was staying over and came while the house was empty and when I got inside she started to bark before realizing it was me and stopping. Such a good dog!

My brother rescued a Pyrenees from a hording situation. When he came into their home, he was 40 lbs under weight with rashes, cuts, bruises, and scars all over his body. He was extremely skittish however he was a sweetheart to my 8 year old nephew. Now he loves to roll around outside, is excited whenever I come over, has a beautiful full coat, and he is at the weight he should be. If you think his large bear-like appearance means he had an intimidating bark, he would surely disappoint you as he sounds like a teenager finally going through puberty. My brother's old mutt who was half the size of him had a more intimating bark
