I remember the "sex bracelet" news scare when I was a kid, my grandmother freaked out on me when she saw a black hair tie on my wrist.

Souping is real. I didn't believe it either, so tried it with some 'friends' when I was 14, and was then addicted for 8 years. I almost lost everything including my life. If it wasn't for the kind souls at the kitchen I would never have recovered. Now I'm piecing things back together. Avoiding crusty bread because I know even that can lead back there...

this skit reminds me of when eating tide pods was being hyped. No one was doing it. It actually started as a joke online and the media took up thinking they were being serious and over sensationalize the story. The real amount of reports of it happening was very small. I remember it being less than 100 or 50 and it wasn't done intentionally. This is extremely small compared to the other chemical accidents each year. Yet the news just lied. Mean while the parents and elders watching believed it like guilable dingbats.

Exactly what happens on the news and Facebook. I remember my father warned me about a Facebook post talking about strawberry meth and it turns out it was a picture of frozen raspberries that was zoomed in. 😂😂😂
