a fun fact: Werner is German and judging by the Union Jack flag in the background, the cat and his owner are British. During WWII, Brits fighting were called Tommies and German fighters were called Jerries. So that makes the cat a TOMmy and the mouse a JERRY.
Edit: also I recently watched some of the cartoons and noticed something else: Werner and the cat(Katzenwagen) end up fighting together. In the cartoons, sometimes Tom and Jerry had to work together when another enemy came along.

It's an interesting style. It's less like Werner is singing at the cups and more, befitting the situation, like he's screaming it at them, presumably just barely heard above the explosions as he goes blitzkrieg on their porcelain rears.

The double pun of Jerry, as both the nickname for German solders in WW1, and a link to Jerry the mouse, was a smart choice by the devs of the game and I’m really glad that these lyrics picked up on it. This is a amazing lyrical adaptation!

(Although I was expecting the cat to have a British accent for the Tom part of the Tom and Jerry rhyme. It would’ve been funny to have a German rat try and force a British accent whilst still singing about German firepower).

This is the weirdest Tom and Jerry cartoon. Probably the best we've gotten in a while too.

a subtle detail i noticed is that as the song progresses, werner sings the "piston wires, priming" part, it slowly goes faster as werner gets more and more stressed about winning the fight. thats what i think.
