Why you never use scholar's mate

Yeah this is why you never use scholar's mate. You try to checkmate but then you get checkmated.

In my opinion if you make a bot that only does scholar mate and resigns if opponent successfully defends, it will get to like 600 elo.

Scholar's Mate and early Queen attacks used to annoy me but now I use it as an easy opportunity to chase the Queen around the board whilst developing all my pieces and getting castled leaving my opponent confused and underdeveloped both mentally and on the board.

😂 Oh man, that is golden.
I was playing with Black once and I played a Sicil, looking to go for an e6 Sicil. Opponent plays Qh5. I was like no biggie, I play e6 (bye bye Scholar's Mate). Opponent plays Bc4 anyway. I played Nf6. Opponent then proceeds to sac the queen on f7 and then the bishop on e6. I took both pieces with my king and he resigned.

As a former Pirc defense player I can tell you right now that trap in the end was amazing. Experienced it against the bishop’s opening which the opponent played and after they played Qf3 it was a blunder after they traded the d pawn and got checkmated in 7 moves 😂😂😂

There should be a sequel of this video stating the Fool's Mate, which is even worse than the Scholar's Mate, as it cannot be defended with a mating threat. Also, not all hope is lost for White; the queen can go to d3 to force a queen trade and that will bring White's c-pawn to the center and defend the e-pawn on the 5th rank, and then it can form a pawn chain.
