Let me first define what is online arbitrage & retail arbitrage for beginners.

👉 What is Retail Arbitrage?
Retail arbitrage is basically purchasing a product from a supplier and selling it to a customer in retail.

👉 What is Online Arbitrage?
Online arbitrage is the process of buying from a supplier and selling it to other businesses or customers using the online platforms.

👉 What is Online Retail?
Online retail can be understood as a combination or a subset of Retail arbitrage and online arbitrage. In online retail, a buyer purchased the products from a supplier (offline or online) and sells it to a customer online through various channels like ecommerce websites or social media platforms.

Selling on Amazon is one of such online retail platforms. As we all know, Amazon is world’s largest ecommerce platform.

👉There are mainly 2 types of ecommerce business:
✅ B2B – Business to Business
✅ B2C – Business to Customer
Both are supported by Amazon.

But whether you are doing B2C or B2B or any other form of ecommerce business, in order to become a successful Amazon seller, it is important that you understand the goals of online retail.

👉 Before that let’s look at the key things to remember before doing online arbitrage or online retail business:
✅ Select in-demand products
✅ Don’t reinvent the wheel, unless you have a great plan and funds to execute to it.
✅ Old is Gold

👉 Goals of Online Retail (Online Arbitrage or Retail Arbitrage):
✅ Buy products at the lowest possible price
✅ Sell at highest possible price
✅ Maintain demand-supply ratio
✅ Have consistent sources / suppliers
