Frank Sinatra 'Let's Face the Music and Dance'

In 1960 because of disagreements with the management at Capitol Records, Frank Sinatra created his own record company, Reprise Records. His first album at the new label, Ring-a-Ding-Ding! was released in March 1961. From this album comes this selection, "Let's Face the Music and Dance" written in 1936 by Irving Berlin for the film Follow the Fleet, where it was introduced by Fred Astaire. The song was recorded by Frank on December 20, 1960 with Johnny Mandel as arranger and conductor due to Nelson Riddle still being under contract to Capitol. Ring-a-Ding-Ding! reached No. 4 on the Billboard top 200 album chart. The album was reissued on CD by Concord Records on June 7, 2011 to mark its 50th Anniversary. Johnny Mandel deserves much credit for his excellent Nelson Riddle-like arrangement. I do not own the right to the song, audio, or images contained in this video.
