what being openly queer means [Spoken Word Poetry]

hi this isn’t really spoken word poetry i would call this my deepest thoughts and on a random monday i decided to record myself reading it during a free period in school. it’s not perfect.
this is honestly how i feel being part of queer youth, it can be quite hard when you are open about who you are.
but one thing i know is
it’s okay to struggle.
it’s good to choose to be you.
you’re unique and special and enough.
you’re awesome.
