I still own this wonderful time machine, still play on it. Recently I discovered VZV CZ Patch Editor (freeware), bought a decent midi interface (Roland UM-One mk2), got rid of its crappy display and ram memory. I bought my 101 back in 1985 or so. Still with me ❤️

I refused an offer from my sax player to use this live and i refused because I was embarrased to have the CASIO name on my Synth What a stupid kid I was!!!! This thing could have solved a lot of my sound problems back Stupid old Uncle :)

My first ever synth. It was quite advanced for its time being 4 part multitimbral. It was also a good bass machine, as good as the Yamaha DX in that department. The synth in the video looks in very good condition.

Very good demo of the genuine CZ-sound. I´m still amazed that CASIO never thought about a new rendition or reissue of their masterpiece synth-line. Aside of their mediocre iPad App of 2015 they never capitalized on their still huge fanbase.
