Dark Flash, Evil Barry Allen EXPLAINED

Dark Flash, the future version of Barry from the Alternate Timeline, is revealed in The Flash movie. He recreates the accident that gave him powers, living as a paradox. Dark Flash attempted to prevent Kara and Bruce's deaths but failed. He later died due to killing Young Barry. Dark Flash is almost identical to Savitar in The Flash series but poorly executed.

Yes but the main design for him was because he was stabbed and injured in many ways over the course of like 50 years for him because you can see he is old.The foreign materials may also have mutated his speed force to the point he became purple, and his hateful nature also affected his lightning, kinda like savitar.The glowing eyes and chest may have been some kind of implosion in the batman suit because of built up energy and he may have saved himself by going and stopping time in the speed force.Hence, he could be quite the competitor to savitar, but i am partial to savitar winning
