As the 13 is a minor upgrade, my recommendation is to grab a discounted 12. I'd say the biggest bonus is the improved battery life!

Yeah. I’m definitely not shelling out another 1k for a minor upgrade. It’s not like just because the new device has improvements doesn’t mean that the older device did things bad. I’m on the 12 now. This was the latest flagship before a few weeks ago. This video was pretty informative! Thanks for the content, Sir!

Honestly, I love the iPhone 12 more than the 13 because the cameras may not be as good as the iPhone 13, but the design of the iPhone 12 is better than the iPhone 13. I'm currently saving up for an iPhone 12 (blue, 128GB) and buying it to replace my current iPhone 8 Plus (64GB, Gold)

There is nearly no difference in general uses. I just bought iPhone 12 mini. It’s not lacking at anything, love it

Had the 11 and bought the 12 with carrier. I was on the fence, to go for 13 mini or regular 12. But I saw a test that the 13 mini got destroyed with cellular on, compared to the 12. I know other tests say the mini last longer, but no cellular was on there. And with that in mind, battery health will degrade faster on the 13 mini I think. Would really love to have the 13 mini, but can’t justify it as of right now.

I went from an android to the iPhone 13 and two other family members have the 12. I can definitely say that as a first time apple user the 13 is beautifully fast and clear. I’ve used the 12 before while they’re both fast I feel like the 13 is another level so to speak although there is little to no difference. The pro models are definitely better options as their batteries are better and the cameras are higher quality if you’re someone who likes taking photos. If you do simple photos like me of maybe landscape or an animal then the baseline 13 works wonders, I’d say the 11s and newer are all great phones though.

This was so informative! I am upgrading for the first time in years from an 8 to a 13. The battery life is the biggest plus I am looking forward to. Would love to throw my name in the hat for a new case!
Edit: I apparently have a 7 actually, not an 8 😂 2 days til I get the 13! 🙏🏼

By the sounds of it I’ll stick with my 12 just for the fact the 12 colour blue is so much nicer and once the 14 comes out the 13 battery will drain quickly
