i can’t listen this without tears in my
eyes. i have heard it first when i was on a vacation with my family. it was our first vacation together after my dad had returned from the war. i was so happy. those wonderful sunny days were also the first days of communication with my ex online “friend”. it was euphoric, so interesting to talk to him, i felt it then that he was my person. i remember he sent me about 40 songs, i’ve listened each of. and there also was •Magdalena•…
i immediately loved this! could not stop listening to this masterpiece.
8 months have passed, we are not friends anymore. he turned out to be a liar, and i have a spoiled opinion of him. but i’ll always remember those first days of us talking, crying of nostalgia.

Well, I haven't heard much of the 'new' Pixies but I really do like the sound of Indie Cindy and Magdalena. Both songs are Pixies material!

This is a fantastic song, the kind of badass song you hoped you'd find on a Pixies record.. Imagine what people were saying when they heard "la la love you' or 'herre comes your man' on doolittle when they were expecting something more abrasive. The band was never playing to what the fans want

A band cant release something different than what people wants bc everyone starts to complain about it. You can say u didnt like but dont come here talkin this is not the pixies "u used to know", if they wanted to release a fucking pop album they could, theyre the pixies not you, mind your life. Stop thinking that bands will produce music for your taste, they do what they want
