Bloodworms for Goldfish!

My family owned a small pet store growing up. My mother had very sharp eyes for parasites when she fed them live bloodworms.

How can you tell a goldfish has gas??? And if you tell me it's from the bubbles shooting out of their butts, I am going to literally die of laughter!

One thing to note if you're feeding bloodworms, it's a good idea to minimize the amount of time that your touching them. It's very common for people to be allergic to bloodworms, or to develop an allergy to them over time. This applies to both frozen and freeze dried bloodworms.

Omega one is the best frozen blood worms brand I use them for all my fancy goldfish and a few betas an they prefer the frozen over freeze dried. An the corys love them too lol.

My poor Goldie got parasites o think from frozen blood worms. Whatever it was ate through her head..🤢😟😟😟😟 So sad, she was my first gold fish..had her a long time then just died on me a week ago.

Bloodworms aren't excellent and should be fed no more than once a week. Blackworms and brine shrimp are better options nutritionally.

I feed my siclids and other small blood worms and mosquito larvae and mixed food my pharanaha mo Joe jack and Mary they eat trout and frozen UK freshwater fish and once a month Cornish mackerel high in olis and vitamins my bmissisippi mud turtle TT he eats fish and chicken and worms my giant Thai freshwater prawn eats Alfie fish and freshwater clams they have super long blue main nippers IE claws and I mean long look them up

What about blood worms dried one? Also brought new red cap oranda 3 days back with rancho but oranda not eating anything. How should I feed like taking half in hand and feeding pellets in mouth? The vendor is unknown.

I used to feed blood worms to my fish but my family did not like frozen worms in their freezer. Can't blame them, just a big disappointment for my father and I.
