Microsoft's Copilot products are amazing, but there's also dozens of them, and within even a single product like Copilot for Microsoft 365 there are so many different tools, options, and ways of doing things. Compared to much simpler products like ChatGPT or Claude we are experiencing a Copilot overload.

Why have these Copilot options become so diverse and bloated? Why is this bad for the necessary adoption processes for these products? And what should Microsoft do to correct course?

Great video - If instead of wondering how PowerPoint works, users will be wondering how Copilot works, this merely shifts the problem. Sums up the whole isse in one sentence!

I think you hit the nail on the head regarding how Microsoft create confusion, they pushed teams to develop Copilots independently to force adaption to each product. Unfortunately this will become an adoption problem until MS starts to unify their capabilities and interfaces. For example, it would be useful in the Power Point Copilot to make it easy to access the "Work" and "Web" Copilots in the UI without needing to open a browser our use the Windows 11 Copilot--this just exposing context in the existing UI would be helpful for intermediate users. They sacrificed speed to market with ease of use but if we are being honest so are all of the other AI companies--going to one of the others you cited is still harder for the average worker who doesn't care to become an AI expert than using the tool on the company provided device. Let's keep in mind that we are less than 2 years from the launch of generative AI to the public and already finding useful and timesaving tools we couldn't have imagined we would have at our fingertips on Black Friday 2022.

Why doesn't the copilot button appear in my Teams application? I have a business account, I am the administrator and I purchased microsoft for 365 business and copilot for microsoft 365 with the Teams option. Is it because i am using it from Mexico and in spanish? Thans in advance
